Scrabble Onyx Edition User Review
After reading lots of reviews both good and poor I was not sure what to expect when I purchased this game. I was not disappointed and although it is not as well constructed as the old style turn table game, it works great. The game board display lines up with the grid, and I think the raised plastic edges for the tiles is plenty high enough. The rotating rollers work great, the tiles are printed instead of engraved but I don’t expect them to wear off. I didn’t get a glare from the silver background of the game board like some others stated. The board is not small and you need a big table to play, and it requires a lot of space to store the box. For what I paid its great!

This is a great, updated version of the board game Scrabble. some of the colors are different, and the craftsmanship is more sleek, rather than the classic look, which others did not like. Unless you’re an x-tournament player or very particular about traditions, buy this board. The rotating board is very convenient, as are the raised squares in which tiles sit (so they don’t slide). Its the exact same game with a more modern look.
