BARBIE Party Cruise User Review
Hi all,
I got this Barbie Party Cruise ship for my 8 yo. for Christmas & for her to share w/younger sisters (ages 5yo.& 3 1/2yo.)It’s been a while since Christmas but, they still are enjoying it. More so now that her sisters are getting bigger. They actually have fun using it with other smaller dolls as well. Although, I haven’t let them fill it with water yet I’m sure they will like that too. The quality is pretty good. Closing is a little challenging, it sort of snaps at hinges but her being older is not a problem. It offers plenty of play/imagination space but, I think I like the design of some of the older ships how they open a little better. But, I do see how it makes it easier for younger girls who might struggle with larger dolls & fitting them inside. I like how everything stores nicely inside with room for some extras & Barbies. It fits nicely on top of her portable closet & I’m sure would fit most shelves for tidying up. But, I will say this one stayed open for some time after Christmas before I was able to close it up for a bit:) Now it is back out for Spring play! Ohh… Almost forgot!!! They love the ship sounds, dolphin & dance music it plays! I laugh at how it reminds me of a 70’s disco. LOL! My daughters favorite accessory is the dolphin that she lovingly named “Dinah” (after her grandma Diane) Thank you for the perfect Christmas gift! Lisa, from Ct.

Barbie Collector I Love Lucy ?Lucy Tells the Truth? Doll User Review
The new I love Lucy Barbie for 2010 is “Lucy Tells the Truth”. This episode is when Lucy makes a bet that she can tell thr truth for a whole day and at the end she ends up lying to get in the act. She was frightened as this man throws knifes around her but then Ricky told her afterwards that they really come from the back and not to be upset. Another great I love Lucy episode. This is the second barbie that is done in a slightly different style. Starting last year with the Lucy Ballet a different designer did BOTH of these dolls including this new one. You can tell her body is just slightly larger as well as her face, she has larger lasher and fuller curly hair. I think the designer did an excellent job. The only thing I do not like is the ordinary style of the box with the last 2 Lucy Barbie sets. I personally do not like the new plastic boxes because they don’t look as nice but they don’t get quite as damaged easily. I would like to see the new Barbies to be done in hard plastic boxes. They would cost more but would probably be worth it.
I would have prefered a different episode then this I love Lucy Barbie also. There is still so many episodes they can design a Barbie afterwards. A few of my favorites is Lucy as Wicked City Women where Tennesee Ernie visits, Charm School with Lucy and Ethel, Lucy as Queen of Frackashan, Lucy is envious with the martians costumes on, and SO much more. I would have loved a more glamourous encemble!
I still love this “Lucy Tells the Truth” Barbie and think it looks better in person. It is a must have if you collect all of these like I do. The outfit is really pretty. It is done in a medium shade of blue and with gold accents, and her pants are done in black and are peddle pusher or capri style pant set. She has her famous hair do and beautiful earrings coppied from the style on the episode. She has a beautiful face and even a slightly frightened look on her face. Her lips have red lipstick and her mouth is slightly opened where you can see some of her teeth.
If you collect the Lucy Barbies like I do, then this is a MUST have for your collection!!!!!

Barbie In a Mermaid Tale Merliah Doll User Review
I got this toy after receiving some money for my birthday. I loved this toy, and I figured out how to solve her certain ‘defects’, which I’ll go into more detail about presently. But I would highly recommend this particular Barbie. BTW, her dolphin’s name is Zuma (pronounced ZOO-muh). Anyway, one of the defects was that her hair wouldn’t fit into the hoodie. I solved this by simply making her hair into a little loop at the bottom and pushing it in. Another defect was that her hair, tattoos, and toenails wouldn’t change color. However, I accidentally left her out wet overnight. Overnight, the water cooled, and when I went into the bathroom, TA-DA! Her hair was pink and her tattoos were purple. Apparently, it had to be COLD water.:) Oops! Her toenails had dried overnight, so they stayed the same color, but I presume they’re functional too. Lastly, the hoodie didn’t fasten because of a little yellow piece of cloth over one of the Velcros, so I took that off. Those are the only defects I’ve encountered so far, and she (Merliah) ROCKS! Seeya! ‘_’

Barbie Fab Girl Doll User Review
Compared to some Barbies I have purchased this one is much higher quality. Granddaughter loves it and has been playing with it and the accessories non-stop for days now.
I personally found the packaging to be frustrating. Every last little item strapped down with elastic or tape so everything was picture perfect in the box.
This Barbie has a “grow hair” feature that has take a while for my 5 year old granddaughter to figure out. At first she wanted to cut the strings so she could brush the hair but she seems to have figured it out.
